@yurydelendik I tried the link you provided in the original PR message and it's a massive improvement! It renders approximately two to three times faster with WebGL enabled.

I think something regressed in Nightly for regular canvas on Mac OSX, it got slower. For Firefox 27 it's opposite, webgl is slower than regular canvas (for smask files), hmmm

I'm testing it in the latest Nightly on Windows and all is fine there. Most likely it's OS X specific.
